A single glance at the building tells you the story of its history: an old egg shop from back in the days when Spanish businesses would paint the tiles of their facades with elaborate advertisements to entice customers. In the trendy Madrid neighborhood of Malasaña many survive to this day, such as the roosters gracing the Antigua Hueveria whose name recalls its former self.

When this modern Spanish bistro took up residence behind the tiles, they turned to us for naming and creating a brand identity that would capture and modernize the essence of the locale. The iconic rooster that has been welcoming customers for generations was given rightful prominence and a fresh new calling embellishing the menus and other collateral materials. We further highlighted the restaurant's provenance at its opening event with gift bags containing what else: eggs.
