LATULI is a fine dining restaurant in Houston, Texas, born from the culinary bond between Allison Knight and acclaimed chef Bryan Caswell. Rooted in Southern hospitality with a Mediterranean soul, LATULI is more than a restaurant—it’s a celebration of food, family, and a beautifully lived life.

MERRY+ was invited to the project by the legendary Alfredo Paredes (former SVP of Creative at Ralph Lauren). The Alfredo Paredes Studio team designed the interiors, then passed the branding baton to us. Inspired by LATULI’s essence, we crafted a complete brand identity that mirrors the warmth and depth of the experience. Some of the highlights include: an elegant custom wordmark, a ranch-inspired monogram, and a suite of brand icons that reflect the land, lifestyle, and culinary heritage that feed the LATULI spirit.

Our color palette blends sun-warmed earth tones, leather, and craft paper textures—an elevated yet exotic feel that echoes the interiors’ hand-troweled plaster, oak, and bronze. Every brand touchpoint, from the letterpress business cards to the leather-bound menus, feels thoughtful and tactile. We even created a children’s coloring book—rooted in Texas ranch life and named after Allison’s three kids—adding a sweet, unexpected layer to the family-first experience.

With collaborators like Bento Box on the website and illustrator PatBol on the coloring book, we created a world where elegance and charm coexist effortlessly. LATULI is a place where design doesn’t just look beautiful—it feels meaningful. A brand with soul, stitched into every detail.
