An art book straddling past and present
London-based artist Paul Lisak is famed in both the art and music worlds. In his large works of oil on canvas, this modern Renaissance man employs techniques of the likes of Tiziano, Picasso, Caravaggio and Velázquez to comment on modern-day issues such as war, religion, the individual and the struggle between theology and science.
In designing his art book, our goal was to embody this fusion of old and new. The book, like his paintings, may at first seem classical in style, but upon closer examination it reveals itself to be thoroughly modern and exceedingly relevant.
